ADMISSION OF STUDENTS TO THE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTES
AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE SECTIONS FOR THE
ACADEMIC YEAR 2018
Applications are called for Higher National Diploma (HND) courses conducted by the Sri LankaInstitute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) from those who have successfullycompleted the GCE Advanced Level Examination on or before 2017.
HOW TO APPLY
All duly filled applications prepared according to the specimen application form appearing below
should be sent to the relevant Advanced Technological Institute (ATI)/ATI Section as mentioned in
section “B”, under registered cover with the bank receipt obtained by crediting Rs.500/= (Five hundred
rupees) to the SLIATE account No. 025-2-001-1-3397613 at Peoples’ Bank, Hyde Park Branch
Colombo 02 or any other branch of the Peoples’ Bank in Sri Lanka. The course applied for should be
clearly stated at the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
Candidates who wish to apply for more than one institute should submit separate applications to each
institute, while attaching separate receipt worth Rs 500/- in the space provided in the applications. If
the money is credited to any other account number than the specified account number or incomplete
applications will be rejected. Priority is given to the applicants who apply to the institutes in their
region.
Applications received after the closing date (16.03.2018) will not be accepted.

Higher National Diploma in Management – HNDM (Full Time) – 3 years
Applicants should have one of the following:
Higher National Diploma in Management (HNDM): Full-Time – 3 years
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
(i) Passes for all subjects in one sitting at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination in any stream.
Or
(ii) National Certificate for Accounting Technicians or National Certificate in Business
Studies (Public Administration / Marketing) conducted by the Department of Technical
Education & TrainingAnd Ordinary passes in English and Mathematics at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination

- උසස් ජාතික කලමණාකරන ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව, ශ්‍රී ලංකා උසස් අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යන්ශය යටතේ සංස්ථාපිත , උසස් තාක්ෂණ ආයතන තුල ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පාඨමාලාවක් වේ.
- පාඨමාලා කාලය වසර දෙකකුත් මාස හයකි. (2 Year academic + 1 Year trainee)
- වසර 3 අවසානයේදී ශ්‍රී ලංකා විවෘත විශ්‍වවිද්‍යාලය හරහා තවත් වසරක් ඇතුලත ව්‍යාපාර කළමනාකරණ උපාධිය ලබාගත හැක.
- රාජ්‍ය අනුග්‍රහය යටතේ, සිව් වසරක් තුලදී වසරක පුහුණුවක් සමග උපාධියක් ලබාගත හැකි , නොමිලයේ පැවැත්වෙන එකම පාඨමාලාවවේ.
